The Link School is about discovering: your identity, your community, your place in the world, and your relationship with the Divine.
Mission
The Link School is life-preparation focused and offers students of, and those interested in, Christian Science an experiential high school program through a mosaic of college-prep academics, individual projects, service opportunities, wilderness experiences, and spiritual exploration in a democratic community. The Link School emphasizes education in an environment that cultivates curiosity, self-directed learning, collaboration, resourcefulness, and problem solving.
Purpose
The Link School is a high school for students who are seeking an experiential education in an environment where Christian Science is lived and demonstrated on a daily basis. The purpose of the school is to help students “…find the indissoluble spiritual link which establishes man forever in the divine likeness” (Mary Baker Eddy).

History
In 2007, Natalie and Bobby Lewis founded The Link School in response to a need for an alternative to traditional high school. Through working with Christian Science teens for over ten years at the Adventure Unlimited Ranches, Natalie and Bobby knew firsthand that high school students have a broad range of learning styles, and they respond positively to a spiritual approach to education and living.
Our first classroom began with a modest army tent and trailer. Since day one, we have prioritized experiential learning. As the campus has developed and expanded to its current state-of-the-art facility, the Link community has always grounded itself in core principles including handcrafted education, student-driven projects, expeditions, and spiritual growth. This foundation supports Link’s continued commitment to building community and realizing potential.
Community Principles
Every year, Link students choose Community Principles to serve as the foundation for life at Link. They guide the way we treat one another, provide direction for spiritual study, and shape our academic and personal growth.

“I demonstrated Growing Edge as I struggled on the uphill hike to Harvard Lakes. I saw improvement from the last time I did that hike, as a result of confidence that it was something I could do. I kept my head up and enjoyed the beauty that surrounded me and kept hiking. I have grown and matured and I have found my niche—a place that I can enjoy and reflect on everything I have to be grateful for.”
