Academic Tutor and Study Hall Instructor
I am very excited to be part of the team at Link and to support this special community of amazing staff and students!
Over the years, my career path has taken me in different directions, but has always centered on service and working with youth. After graduating from Yale with a BA in Religious Studies, I served in Americorps, worked as a caseworker for adjudicated youth in inner-city Baltimore, and ultimately found my niche at Green Chimneys Children’s Services – a special education school and residential center best known for their integrated nature-based approaches, outdoor education and therapeutic farm and wildlife center. I also pursued graduate work at Fordham University’s School of Social Service.
When we were ready to start our family, my husband Matthew and I returned to Colorado and to the Christian Science Camp Adventure Unlimited, where we have been living and raising our children for the last 15 years. During that time, I have worked in various capacities at A/U, with students in the community and in the local school district, and have taught Sunday School at our local branch church.
In my free time, I love to ride horses, hike with our Great Pyrenees, Bella, and am daily inspired by the natural beauty of the river, mountains, and wide open sky here in Buena Vista.
