Hi there! I’m Afton, and I am absolutely thrilled to be in my second year of teaching English at The Link School and my fifth year as part of this incredible community. After graduating from Principia College in 2021, I was so excited to bring my lifelong love of literature into the classroom and share the joy, wonder, and power of books with my students.
Beyond the classroom, I love participating in Link’s program activities. In my daily life I am an avid runner and enthusiastic reader who happily (attempts) to make my way through fifty to one hundred books each year. I feel incredibly grateful to work in a community where my love of learning, adventure, and Christian Science are at the center.
