Residential Assistant / Program Staff
I grew up in southern California where I dedicated most of my free time to working with horses. During the summers, I attended Adventure Unlimited Ranches and gained a deep appreciation for the mountains and outdoors through riding. I graduated from Principia College in 2015 with a BA in Mass Communications and decided to move to Colorado soon after. I lived in Denver for 4 years before deciding it was time to get out of the city and move up into the mountains. I have lived in Buena Vista full time now since Spring of 2020 and couldn’t be happier to be here!
I am extremely grateful to be surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains these days, and how easy it is to do so many of my favorite activities like riding, climbing, and skiing. I also really enjoy learning and trying new things, so I am looking forward to working with students and learning together!
I have always admired The Link School for the experiential approach to learning, as that is how I learn best myself. For my last 2 years of high school, I decided to switch from a traditional to high school education to an independent study program. I feel this was one of the best decisions my family and I ever made, as it allowed me to dive deeper into the things I cared most about and allowed me to regain my love of learning. I am so excited to be working at Link and to be supporting each student in their own journey of experiential learning.
