BK Grimmer

BK and her husband recently relocated to Buena Vista, along with their Aussiedoodle, Bindi, and live next door to Link School, on the Adventure Unlimited Ranches. Between them, they have 5 daughters, 2 who have been active A/U campers, counselors, NLC teens, and HQ employees.  They are loving their new small-town adventure in the mountains!  In her free time, BK enjoys sourdough rustic small batch baking, entertaining, and decorating.

Professionally, BK has chosen a career in education, including middle-school classroom teaching in public, charter, and independent schools, across several states.  Her path also included working for DiscoveryBound as Western Regional Manager planning regional events for teens.  Most recently, she served as Dean of Girls at Principia Upper School, managing the boarding program/girls dorm, and team of Resident Counselors, and was a member of the Upper School Administration team, working with admissions, restorative justice and student accountability (rec board), and supporting character development.  At Principia College she served as Title IX Coordinator, and at Principia School she was part of the Title IX team as well.

With a passion for supporting the experiences and character growth of young people, she has been especially grateful to serve within the Christian Science community, teaching at Berkeley Hall School, working at Principia School and College, and as an NLC Class Leader, along with her husband Brett. She is grateful to be able to support here at Link School as well!
